Hello and welcome to my blog site!

My name is Eliana and I am so excited to be stepping into a gap year on mission! World Race is an amazing opportunity to explore God's creation while serving Him and his people in an intentional way. Through this nine month journey across Portugal, Spain, Romania, Greece, Nepal, Vietnam, and Cambodia, I am expectant to see God move!

Over the last few years, I have realized I have a heart for God's people. It is fascinating to meet people, here in my city and all over the world, that have walked such different paths of life. To hear their stories and adventures and hardships is such an honor not to be taken for granted. I knew the Lord was calling me into mission, not just meet people, but point them to the abundance of life in salvation. Jesus has changed my life and I cannot wait to share how He can change others lives too.

So, why go?

Jesus says we are the salt and light of the world. We are called to preserve His truth and show His love to those who do not know. I will serve and trust the God who has shown me grace and mercy I do not deserve for the rest of my days.

"If the whole body were an eye, where would be the hearing? If the whole were hearing, where would be the smelling? But now God has set the members, each one of them, in the body just as He pleased." 1 Corinthians 12:17 & 18

Mission is meant to be done with community and that is why I want to invite you into this ministry with me! I ask that throughout this next year, you would be praying for me and my squad. Praying that hearts and minds that have not heard the good news would be prepared across the world. Praying for strength and courage to come from God when we run out. Praying for God to go before us.
